About "Posh"

Posh opened for Christmas In Sopchoppy, on December 08, 2007. Posh is primarily a retail gift shop that features fair trade products, local art and music, world music, handcrafted jewelry, organic coffee, tea and chocolate, and a large amount of non-toxic natural bath, beauty and cosmetic products. The goal is to allow the consumer to upgrade to a healthier alternative shopping experience while empowering the small business owner, artisan, or global village, through fair trade and healthy, natural products. Fair trade certification ensures that the producer of food or crafts are working under humane conditions, earning a fair wage, and are being supported and treated with dignity and respect. Thus the “Posh” slogan, “Helping you to help yourself while helping others.” Owner Debra E. Dix is also a licensed massage therapist, owner of Massage from the Heart, and has a Masters in Social Work from Florida State University.
